There is hardly ever the need to replace the complete driveshaft, the cv joints are easily disasembled and reasembled
The cardan bolts are made of XZN 12-sided M8, use an (XZN) M8 male sleeve for installation, item no. SK5796.

Transporter 1980-91: 2 joints per shaft, 4 joints in all
Transporter 1980-91 Syncro 14″ : 6 joints in all, for the two front joints wheel side, use 2 joints with stub axle ref. 251498099E
Transporter 1980-91 Syncro 16″ : 2 joints in the front, inside
