They fit:
– VW split screen with original 15″ wheels (1955 to 1963)
– VW T4 with original 15″ steel wheels (9/1990-6/2003)
– VW Beetle with original 15″ wheels (1953-)

Possibly the rings do not fit on tyres with rim protectors!
