100% new, forged and lightened (less than 6 kg) chromoly flywheel.
This ‘conversion’ flywheel is used together with a 200 mm clutch to connect a Type 4 (VW or Porsche 914) or WBX engine to a Type 1 or T2 gearbox up to 1975.
Without having to mill the inside of the gearbox housing.
Can also be used when a reinforced 200 mm clutch is to be used on a T2 ’76-’79 or T3 ’80-’92. The teeth of this 12V flywheel are heat treated.
When using a T1 or T2 1600cc transmission, an additional needle cage no. 111105313A is required, which is mounted in the centre of the flywheel to support the drive shaft.
