Description

100% new, forged and lightened (less than 6 kg) chromoly flywheel.
This ‘conversion’ flywheel is used together with a 215 mm clutch to connect a Type 4 (VW or Porsche 914) or WBX engine to a Type 1 or T2 gearbox up to 1975.
Without having to mill the inside of the gearbox housing.
Can also be used when a 215 mm clutch is to be used on a T2 ’76-’79 or T3 ’80-’92. The teeth of this 12V flywheel are heat treated.
Has 8mm clutch bolt holes, unlike the original 215mm flywheel which was 7mm holes. So a set of 8mm clutch bolts are needed (part no. AC1411369).
