This is the easiest way to create a ‘Full Flow’ oil system on your T2 with a 1600cc dual port engine (4-rivet camshaft)! Simply remove the old pump and replace it with this EasyFlow pump from CSP Products.
No drilling, no machining, no engine disassembly required. Easy.
A well-clean oil is important, especially in air-cooled engines, and as standard these engines only have a mesh oil filter, which is pretty ineffective. That’s why we recommend a proper oil filter.
The best way to do this is to switch to a Full Flow oil system.
This system provides the best filtration possible, as the oil flows directly from the pump to the oil filter and is therefore filtered regardless of the engine’s operating status.
It is also possible to fit an additional oil cooler along with CSP’s EasyFlow oil pump, or even better filter + cooler.
The high-quality 26 mm oil pump has specially designed flow-optimizing channels and its own O-ring, making a paper cover seal unnecessary. Two centering bushes ensure perfect alignment of the pump cover.
The complexly ately manufactured pump cover is made of CNC machined aluminum and has an anodized surface that protects it over time and two 3/8 NPT threads for inlet and outlet.
Because of its special design, it can be used with all 3 types of Bay Window engine mount bars.
