FW 522 is based on aramid fibers bonded with NBR and a perforated metal sheet core.
The material possesses excellent resistance to oils, coolants and fuels combined with good stress relaxation.
FW 522 is mainly used for components exposed to high temperatures, such as exhaust pipes or exhaust manifolds.
The maximum use temperature is 250°C.
EWP 207 is based on synthetic organic fibers bonded with NBR. The material is resistant to fuels and oils.
EWP 207 is mainly used as a sealant against hot and cold oils, fuels and coolants with corrosion inhibitors and antifreeze additives.
Typical applications are oil pans, valve covers, gears and housing covers.
The maximum use temperature is 200°C.
Abil N (registered trademark) is based on cellulose fibers bonded with NBR. The seal material is mainly used as a sealant against hot and cold oils,
fuels and coolants with corrosion inhibitors and antifreeze additives.
Typical applications are housing covers, gears, valve covers, oil pans, pneumatic and chemical equipment, pumps and compressors.
The maximum use temperature is 120°C.
