Here’s the remedy: a high-quality guide roller that easily let the throttle cable move without sharp angles, preventing it from rubbing and tearing.
Made of aluminum, it is equipped with a brass roller mounted on a ball bearing and it’s also aesthetically pleasing.
The guide has an inner plastic guard. This ensures optimum cable sliding.
The tube is mounted on the fan shroud housing using the self-tapping screw supplied; all that’s required is to drill a 3 mm hole.
