Complete conversion kit to fit a guided release bearing on non-guided transmission

Description

This conversion kit allows you to replace the original clutch release bearing (non-guided, up to 1970) with a late-style bearing (guided, from 1971 onward).

The kit contains all the parts necessary for the conversion and replacement of the release shaft:

• Guide Sleeve Conversion Kit (-1970)
• Bushings and seals
• Clutch return spring
• Return spring seat
• OEM Clutch release bearing, late style (guided, 1971-)
• Mounting parts
• 16mm release shaft (1971-only)

This conversion kit is suitable for transmissions equipped with a non-guided clutch release bearing (up to 1970) on VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 181, and Type 3 models, as well as on the VW Split Bus from 1960 to 1967.
