The black paint is only intended to protect the exhaust system during transport. It is not a temperature resistant paint.
We recommend painting with a high temperature resistant paint to extend the life of the exhaust system.
Due to the extreme conditions under which exhaust parts work we cannot guarantee the shiny surface of chromed exhaust parts over time.
Please note: Exhaust parts are not packaged after manufacture. Their storage, handling and despatch often lead to knocks, scratches and signs of corrosion on flanges or weld seams, but this does not affect installation and use.
