With this ignition coil, you can be sure of a spark that will light any fire!
Suitable for all VWs equipped with a 12V electrical system, the Bosch Blue coil is the one we recommend most for your flat 4-cylinder engine,
whether it has a breaker point ignition or electronic ignition.
By providing more energy to the spark, it improves the combustion process. The result is easier starting, improved idling, reduced emissions, and increased performance at high revs!
The coil can be mounted vertically or upside down because it is filled with oil under pressure during production, so there is no air inside.
The bracket is not supplied as you can use the original (coil diameter = 55mm).
Note that if your vehicle uses a resistor in series with the coil, the resistor must be removed. The ignition coil must be connected directly to the 12 volts from the ignition switch.
The primary resistor of the blue Bosch coil has a value of 3.4 O (ohms).
