With Effbe, we have developed something wonderful: a pre-cut membrane fabric made from modern materials.
In terms of thickness and color, it corresponds exactly to the original from the 50s, so that – just like before – three layers of membrane go into one pump
Installing the bare membrane material into the “hardware” of the pump is not difficult at all; any reasonably experienced hobbyist can do it.
The three-layer membrane is the ideal, high-quality alternative to the dodgy complete membranes from other production. It fits all 25 / 30 hp engines at VW, and including 356 B Porsche.
