OEM VW 113701111B. This panel comes in a oxidation prohibiting packing paint, this should not be mistaken for primer. The packing paint won’t protect the panel well enough against oxidation sufficiently to be used as a final primer.
The panel once test fitted, should be stripped down to bare metal, then primed and painted, to protect it against oxidation. The quality of manufacture will sometimes require the part to be “adapted” as best as possible, and therefore to be re-holed, trimmed or other.
