If you want to install automatic retractable seat belts in your Bay Window, they must be perfectly vertical to function properly. VW provided special mounts with the seat belts, but these were never available for sale separately.
Today’s automatic seat belts have a different mounting center distance (25 mm) than the one used by VW (28 mm). We’ve specially designed these brackets so you can install the new seat belts available exactly like the original ones—including, of course, our own seat belts.
We’ve also left a single 10-mm hole in the bracket in case you’d still like to use your original seat belts, but we recommend installing the new ones directly for maximum safety.
These brackets are made of stainless steel and sold individually.
