This black Wolfsburg steering wheel is the deluxe option that VW should have offered back in the day!
Price includes steering wheel, steering boss, Wolfsburg horn push buton and all hardware (everything you need to fit!)
The wheel has been cut from a single piece of aluminium, with beautiful fine spokes for the true vintage feel.
The steeering wheel is dished it to 3cm to keep that period look and combined with the boss it will sit at the perfect height in your VW.
The wood rim has finger tapers sculpted into the back. Then the wood is lacquered five times.
The boss / adapter is not cast like others, it is machined for perfect fit and also tapered so it lines up neatly with your original steering column.
The horn push buton has been produced with the same Wolfsburg logo as on vintage stock steering wheels but encased in billet aluminium so sits perfectly with the wheel.
Up to March 1974 (chassis number 214 2164 059) you need reference SK103056. After that you require reference SK103057.
On Early Bays, the nut that secures the steering wheel is 27mm in diameter (flat edge to flat edge).
On Late Bays, the nut that secures the steering wheel is 24mm in diameter (flat edge to flat edge).
